Vinestor sold to Hansa Borg
Hansa Borg Holding AS ("Hansa Borg"), the Norwegian brewery and beverage company, has entered into an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in the Vinestor group, a leading wine importer.

The acquisition of Vinestor strengthens Hansa Borg’s position in the Norwegian market for alcoholic beverages, both with Vinmonopolet, the government wine monopoly, and the HoReCa industry. Vinestor will remain an independently run business as a wholly owned subsidiary of Hansa Borg.

Alpha Corporate Finance has acted as financial advisor to Vinestor and its owner Aars, the Møller family office, in the transaction.

Vinestor is one of Norway’s leading wine import groups, with a diverse portfolio of renowned international brands. The company has been active in the Norwegian wine market since 1997, and today’s offering include products from Germany, Italy, France, Argentina, USA, Australia, and more. The Vinestor group, which has been owned by Aars since 2014, consists of Vinarius, Vinum, Plus Vini, Divini, B & R Wine, Innvino, Servco, Trulli Wines and OMA Vin (50%).

Hansa Borg is Norway’s largest Norwegian-owned brewery and beverage company. The group’s portfolio consists of Norwegian brands such as Hansa, Borg, CB and Grevens, as well as international brands including Heineken, Breezer and Clausthaler. Hansa Borg also has ownership in Olden Brevatn and Nøgne Ø.

Aars is the family office and holding company of the Møller family. The group’s activities include car business through Møller Mobility Group, property through Møller Eiendom, as well as direct investments.
