Sola municipality has on 16 December 2022 entered into an agreement to sell its shareholdings in Sola Bredbånd AS, the dark fibre and co-locations services provider, to Infranode. The agreement values the shares in Sola Bredbånd at NOK 515 million.

Alpha Corporate Finance is financial advisor to Sola municipality. Advokatfirmaet Schjødt acts as legal counsel.

Sola is part of the greater Stavanger region in South-Western Norway. Sola Bredbånd’s network reaches some 99% of the inhabitants in Sola municipality. Some 70% of Sola households currently subscribe to internet and content services delivered over Sola Bredbånd’s infrastructure. Together with Infranode Sola Bredbånd will continue to connect households and enterprises to the company’s state-of-the-art fibre network.
