Alpha advises Montel/Riverside in the acquisition of SKM Market Predictor

Montel, a leading provider of energy information and services, has announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the SKM Market Predictor business, a provider of analysis, software and advisory for the Nordic power and renewables market.

Alpha Corporate Finance has acted as financial advisor to Montel and its majority owner, The Riverside Company, the global private equity investor.

The acquisition marks the third transaction in which Alpha has advised Montel and its shareholders on their strategic journey to become the leading global provider of energy market intelligence.

The transaction represents a significant step to fortify Montel’s position in the Nordics, enabling the company to offer a comprehensive and complete product suite.
