Lønne Scandinavia sold to Brammer
Lønne Scandinavia (“Lønne”), a leading Nordic supplier of mechanical and electro mechanical components to the offshore, marine and industrial markets, announced on 7 January 2014 that Lønne Holding, the 100% owner of the company, has reached an agreement with Brammer Plc (“Brammer”), wherein Brammer is to acquire 100% of the shares in Lønne Holding for a consideration of up to NOK 458m.

Lønne Scandinavia was founded as Lønne Maskinforretning in 1949. In 1968 Terje Lønne took over the operations, and since that time the business has grown to become a major player in the Scandinavian MRO market with total revenues of NOK 495m and EBITDA of NOK 18m for the year 2013. In 2011 Credo Partners AS acquired a 50% share in the company supporting further growth and strategic acquisitions. Lønne Holding was prior to the transaction owned 50/50 by Lønne Invest and Credo Partners.

Brammer, the London Stock Exchange listed pan-European added value technical distributor employs more than 3,200 people across 350+ locations including more than 1,000 technical specialists. Brammer stocks and supplies more than 3.5 million product lines with over 350,000 items in stock at any time.
