Alpha Corporate Finance has acted as financial advisor to Veidekke in the divestment of its subsidiary Hammerfest Entreprenør to Consto.

The background for Veidekke’s divestment is a strategic decision within the business unit Building Construction to focus its activity on markets in and around the larger cities in Norway.

Hammerfest Entreprenør is the market leading turnkey construction company within the commercial and public building segments in Hammerfest. The company was established in 2003 and Veidekke acquired a large majority share of the company in 2012. At the time of the transaction, Veidekke owned 100% of the company.

Veidekke is a Scandinavian construction and property development company with revenue of NOK 36 billion and 8,600 employees. The company is headquartered in Oslo, Norway.

Consto is a Norwegian construction company with 900 employees.
