On 14 August 2023 - GE Vernova announced that it has acquired 100 % of the shares in Greenbird Integration Technology AS (“Greenbird”), the leading data integration platform company focused on the utilities sector.
Greenbird’s foundation is rooted in a deep understanding of the energy sector, coupled with outstanding engineering skills. Their flagship innovation, Utilihive, is a cloud-native integration platform designed for energy applications, offered as a service (iPaaS). Supported by major sustainability investors like ETF, Nysnø, and EnBW New Ventures, the company has since its founding successfully grown its customer base in the global utilities industry. Finding the right partner to support the future growth of the company was seen as vital, and Alpha was selected as the financial advisor to support the partner search.
