Wind management software sold to turbine manufacturer to increase offering

BazeField has developed a software for management of wind farms. The software is turbine independent and regarded as an important tool for owners of wind farms to turn data into actionable information for increased profitability. The software has been installed on more than 150 wind farms with an accumulated capacity of 7 GW to customers across Europe and the US.

Alpha Corporate Finance has acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Baze Technology and its owners in the demerger and sale of BazeField.

BazeField has a market leading position within wind farm management systems. BazeField has recently been awarded contracts by some of the world’s leading renewable energy asset managers and wind farms, such as e.g. Brookfield Renewable, Gemini Offshore Wind Farm, Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm and Oklahoma Gas and Electric, acknowledging BazeField as one of the most comprehensive off-the-shelf systems in the market.

Envision Energy is a China-based global provider of smart energy technologies and services, including sale of smart turbines, smart energy management software and technological services. Envision Energy’s OS platform is used to manage more than 50 GW of renewable energy assets, including charging stations and energy consumption devices worldwide. The company was founded in 2007 and has over 1,000 renewable energy professionals.
