Aspelin Ramm, the Norwegian-Swedish real estate and trading group, is undergoing a strategic restructuring of ownership to establish separately owned real estate entities in Norway and Sweden, while the construction materials specialist Motek AS will remain jointly owned.

In a historic move, the Aspelin family has acquired full ownership of the Norwegian real estate portfolio of Aspelin Ramm Group. As part of the agreement, the Ramm family will take full ownership of Aspelin Ramm’s Swedish real estate portfolio, allowing both families to sharpen their focus on their respective markets in Norway and Sweden. The two families will continue their joint ownership of the leading building materials specialist, Motek AS.

Alpha Corporate Finance acted as the financial advisor to the Aspelin family in this transaction.

Aspelin Ramm is a major player in real estate development, with a property portfolio valued at NOK 19.4 billion (31.12.23). The company has a long-standing reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable projects, with notable landmark projects such as VIA Vika, Sommerro, Tjuvholmen, Alf Bjerckes Vei, and Vulkan.

The transaction is expected to close in early 2025, pending regulatory approval and customary closing conditions.
