Arribatec ASA divests its Hospitality business unit to Convene Group

The publicly listed Norwegian company, Arribatec Group ASA, divests its hospitality software division to Convene Group.

On the 7th of February 2025, Arribatec Group ASA entered into an agreement to sell its Hospitality business unit to Convene Group. The Hospitality business unit develops software for self-check in solutions to the global hospitality industry, with hotel chains such as Thon Hotel, Radisson and Best Western Hotels on its customer list. The divestment of the business unit is part of Arribatec Group ASA’s strategic decision to increase focus on its core activities.

Arribatec Group ASA (https://www.arribatec.com/) is an IT services and consulting company with expertise in technology for integrated business solutions. It is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and serves more than 1,700 companies in 25 countries. Arribatec Group ASA is headquartered in Oslo, Norway.

Convene Group (https://www.convenegroup.com/) is a supplier and partner of payment and administration solutions in the Nordics. The company handles more than 13 million transactions every year from more than 6 million users. Convene group has around 200 employees, with offices in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The company is owned by the US investment firm, Invesco.

The transaction was closed in 14th March 2025.
